AARBAA Minnesota files comment on cycling conduct along the Midtown Greenway, the Cedar Lake Trail, and the Grand Rounds Scenic Byway, and petitions the Minnesota Department of Transportation for enforcement review. Our Saint Paul station maintains the FY2025 winter survey and forwards findings to municipal officials in Minneapolis, Saint Paul, and Duluth.
Our Minnesota chapter currently has 634 dedicated members across 4 local chapters. We're one of the active state chapters in the national AARBAA network, and our membership continues to grow as more Minnesota residents recognize the need for safer roads and accountability in cycling infrastructure planning.
Minnesota's caseload concentrates on the Midtown Greenway crossings, the Cedar Lake Trail corridor in Minneapolis, and the Grand Rounds Scenic Byway, where the Saint Paul station recorded 5.3 studded-tire crossings per winter-mile in FY2025. Ice conditions along the I-35W shoulder remain under review.
Our closed files include the Midtown Greenway Winter Advisory of 2024 and the Grand Rounds Byway crossing review on Minnehaha Parkway. Both are held under Records Retention Schedule 7 and available at the public counter on Form AAR-101.
The Minnesota chapter holds regular meetings on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM. Meeting locations rotate between our 4 chapter locations to ensure all members can participate.
